"Not rainbow trout, then?"
Had crappy day. Was sitting on bench angsting. Said bench was in park, by the pond.
So, anyway. Angsting. There's this group of young boys there, fishing...one of them yells that we're disturbing the fish. I figure he's just being a pain but I turn my bag away from the water, being as it is shiny. Maybe fish don't like shiny. Whatever. He goes back to talking with his friends.
Back to conversation. And then-
"Are you lesbians?"
Pause.

rustydragonfly and me dying of laughter. I couldn't even form a coherent answer...we just wandered off laughing our heads off all "hah, we win!"
Win what, I don't know. Why it was so funny, I don't know. It just was, dammit.
